A new broom sweeps clean? The new MDR

Dear Sir or Madam,

For the highly sensitive sector of medical devices there are rules and regulations, that have to be followed. If this does not happen, patient safety cannot be guaranteed anymore, but also the trust in the industry sector is disturbed. Thus, this year a new Medical Device Regulation (MDR) has become effective. It is to protect patients and to allow innovative changes at the same time. Read more about the new MDR in our interview with Prof. Ernst Klar.
