Hand disinfection is one of the most important preventive measures to fight off the transmission of germs and pathogens in hospitals. But often, hands are only cleaned inadequately. The HELIOS University Hospital Wuppertal wants to counter this with a small device. The main weak spot in hand disinfection at hospitals is that it is either not or not properly carried out. Oftentimes, the reason is that employees lack the time to do it right.
