Hospital logistics: between numbers, data and products

Dear Sir or Madam,

Hospitals with several hundred beds and thousands of inpatients and outpatients have to be supplied with countless products every day. In order to achieve this logistical masterpiece, a systematic interplay of digitization and manual work is necessary. We looked over the shoulder of the logistics company Buttkereit during their daily work at the Knappschaftskrankenhaus in Bochum. See more in our video.

I wish you a warm week,

Countless items and products have to get to the right destination in a hospital every day. A complex process runs behind all this, where nothing works without digitization. Still, it also involves a good amount of manual labor. We went behind the scenes to see how hospital logistics work at the University Hospital Knappschaftskrankenhaus in Bochum and the Buttkereit Company in Dortmund.
