Increased safety for formalin dispensing

Formalin is frequently used in theatres for preserving biopsy samples but the WHO has classified it as carcinogenic to humans. This means that very safe handling procedures must be used for dispensing and storage. These new dispensing and storage systems fully comply with all regulations ensuring that medical staff are protected to the highest degree.
The dispening station dispenses formalin directly from the storage container into the sample pots using a foot switch operated pump. This eliminates virtually all chances of accidental spills and staff coming into contact with formalin or fumes.
The separate storage cabinets give safe storage conditions and are ideal for use in theatres or laboratory.
