The ZETTLER® Medicall® 800 nurse call and communication system is the cornerstone of the network. All components are active elements in their own LON®-network. Ethernet is used to integrate further security and communications units. All systems in the network comply with regulations and operate independently and are able to self-monitor.

Individual wards in a hospital are integrated into the security IP network via certified interfaces to ward servers. Open I/O ports ensure that systems provides by Tyco Fire & Integrated Solutions (e.g. fire detection systems, access control and CCTV systems) as well as security systems from other providers can be integrated.

Importing data from central data bases as well as exporting data to external systems creates and information exchange which avoids data being recorded twice, even incorrect data being recorded, which boosts the efficiency of processes.
