The concentrated medical device industry in Georgia includes a wealth of resources to design, prototype, manufacture and test new products. MeGeorgia leads the nation with more than 225 HIT companies, eight of which have cumulative revenues of close to $5 billion.

Health IT

HIT depends on a robust IT industry, and Georgia delivers. Metro Atlanta ranks in the top five U.S. markets for total bandwidth and fiber access and two of the country’s largest fiber routes – North/South and East/West – cross in metro Atlanta.
