GHE Summer Conference at rescue service provider WEINMANN Emergency in Hamburg

On invitation of WEINMANN Emergency Medical Technology GmbH + Co.KG the German Healthcare Export Group e. V. (GHE) will hold its summer conference on June 25th. During the summer session, the annual general member meeting of the GHE will be held as well.

After the welcoming address of the Chairman of GHE, Markus Braun, the managing director of Weinmann, André Schulte, will present the company.

Weinmann is a family-owned, internationally active medical technology company. They set standards for saving human lives with their mobile system solutions for emergency, transport and disaster medicine. In close collaboration with professional users in emergency medical services, hospitals and armies they develop innovative medical products for ventilation and defibrillation. In this way Weinmann creates corordinated, targeted products since 1874. Weinmann offers its customers a high degree of reliability, extensive experience and quality made in Germany.

The GHE members will have the opportunity to visit an emergency vehicle equipped by Weinmann.

After the presentation of new colleagues the State Councilor for Health and Consumer Protection of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Elke Badde, welcomes the medical technology specialists in the city.

The technical focus constitutes „Eurasia“ with Turkey, Azerbaijan and the five –stan countries Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The EU is building its relations with the Central Asian countries since 2007 continuously. The Uzbek market for medical technology for example is covered almost entirely by imports. 16-20% are from Germany. According to the data from GTAI difficult business conditions and problems of currency conversion complicate the market development.

As used reports of the regional experts, upcoming trade fairs and other events round off the GHE-session.
