SAO PAULO/LÜBECK. German Healthcare Export Group-member Dräger Medical intensifies its presence in Central America: In the third quarter in 2006, the company is planning to open a subsidiary in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as Dräger announced on the occasion of HOSPITALAR in Sao Paulo.
According to the GHE-member, the company can now fulfil the customers’ requirements and convenience in this region in a more appropriate way.
Since 1953, the Dräger-group has been established in Central America and employs approximately 175 workers on four sites. In addition to the already existing subsidiaries in Sao Paulo (at work since 1998), Santiago de Chile (since 2003) and Mexico (since 2004), an affiliate in Buenos Aires, Argentina, will start its operational business.
All four locations focus on distribution and service tasks, whereas they also take on distribution for Central American countries such as Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela.
The range of products includes the clinical acute sector with Dräger’s CareArea solutions, which run from emergency medical aid, perioperative sector, perinatal and intensive medicine to home respiration.
