More than 4,800 exhibitors from 67 countries came to MEDICA 2014. Some of them stepped in front of our camera and answered our questions. See more in our picture gallery.
Robin, Sales Director of Jiacom, is exhibiting at the joint stand Shenzen. His company is producing blood pressure monitors. “We are here for the second year now and will make sure to be back next year too. MEDICA is one of the largest medical trade fairs in the world.”
„Up till now, everything has worked just fine. We are very pleased” explains Thomas Lampart, Managing Director of HUR Deutschland GmbH. The company is exhibiting at MEDICA for the twentieth time. They present pneumatic strength training equipment for the medical sector and are using MEDICA to present their newest products.
3B Scientific is using MEDICA as a platform to meet their international distributors. Miguel Garcia, Product Manager Anatomy, explains: “MEDICA is very important for us because of its internationality. You meet specialized dealers from every country here.”
Sven Hebenbrock, General Director of Sales, and Marco Zellmann, Sales Area Manager of opta data are exhibiting regularly in hall 4. “MEDICA 2014 has been very good for us so far, no wonder considering the perfect organization”, explains Hebenbrock. “There is really a very interested audience here”, adds Zellmann.
CTK Biotech is exhibiting at MEDICA for the eighth time. They are showing their products from the field of immunochemistry. “We will be happy to come again next year. All our customers and competitors are here”, explains Marketing Manager Megan Guelker.
Josef Bruss, Managing Director of EQUIMED is very pleased with the trade fair. “We are coming here for 12 years now. It is very important for us to be present here.” They are receiving especially strong interest in the medi stream 3000, a water massage bench which is used in medical therapeutical applications.
Aseem Narang, Director International Marketing of asco, is pleased with the good feedback. They are exhibiting at MEDICA for 16 years and are presenting their newest products. “At MEDICA, we meet customers from all over the world.”
„MEDICA is a very important market for us“, explains Ms Nikolaudi, managing editor of the magazine European Hospital, “we are able to set up many new business contacts and are getting very positive feedback on our newly launched website healthcare-in-europe.com.”
„The international contacts at the trade fair are increasing steadily. Especially today was a good day. However, we think that less German customers come to MEDICA", says Rainer Freistädter, Director Marketing Clinical Products of SIEMENS Healthcare Germany.
SIMAD is at MEDICA for the third time. Danilo Mistroni, Marketing and Communicatons: “We were able to make many new contacts and are delighted about the high quality of the conversations.”
Frank Hassel, Division Manager Ultrasound of TOSHIBA, is happy about the great resonance on their Aplio Platinum ultrasound series.
„We are very happy about the new opening hours in the next year. MEDICA is the most important platform interantionaly to meet our distribution partners”, explains Peggy Krell, Sales Manager of medicon.
