Elidah brings non-invasive treatment for women with incontinence

Women diagnosed with the condition can suffer urinary leakage during physical exertion or while coughing or sneezing. To date, physicians have recommended solutions ranging from exercises to surgical implants called pelvic meshes, with thousands of lawsuits having been filed against three manufacturers of the devices the past few years after women suffered adverse reactions.

Elidah’s Elitone system can be worn during the day, providing 20 minutes of electrical stimulation delivered through a flexible, non-invasive device worn under clothing.

“This is such a huge market — one out of three women over the age of 30 have this problem,” CEO Gloria Kolb said.
