EMS recognized for the 8th consecutive year by Inc. 5000

Education Management Solutions (EMS)

Education Management Solutions (EMS), a pioneer in medical simulation management technology, was recognized for the eighth consecutive year on the Inc. 5000 list as one of America's fastest growing private companies. EMS ranked #68 in the education industry and #117 in the Philadelphia Metro Area. In addition, EMS was included on the Inc. 5000 Honor Roll, a distinction reserved for companies that have made the list five or more years in a row. The list provides a comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy: America's independent entrepreneurs."We are truly honored to be recognized on this exclusive list for the eighth successive year,” says Anurag Singh, President and CEO of EMS. "I attribute our continued growth to the cutting-edge audio-video and simulation management solutions that we provide for training healthcare clinicians and students in the medical, nursing, allied health, and counseling disciplines; our passion for customer service and quality; and a dedicated team of employees whose expertise is unrivaled by the competition. It is a privilege to share this recognition with our customers, partners, and staff."

The future looks bright for the healthcare/medical simulation market which, according to recent findings, is expected to be worth $1.9 billion by 20171. The study ascribes this market growth to the increasing focus on clinical practitioner training, rising healthcare costs, and lowered infection rates and enhanced patient safety, as well as the availability of funds which help to increase the purchasing power of academic and healthcare institutions.

In addition, the results of the first large-scale study of pre-licensure nursing programs, just released by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, indicates that up to 50% of traditional clinical experience can be substituted with simulation training2.

“This is good news for our industry and the patient population at large,” adds Anurag Singh, who sees the demand for more simulation training solutions growing exponentially among nursing programs. "Providing customers the simulation solutions they need with the highest level of support will always be our top priority, and will continue to be a key contributor to our growth."
