The expansion of the logistics space is a response to the comprehensive and ever-increasing product range, which now comprises more than 500 products.
Through the extension a further 8,920 pallet storage spaces were created over 5,850 m2 of warehouse space. This means that the logistics centre in Uttenweiler now has a total area of 16,380 m2 and 21,000 pallet storage spaces.
"With the extension of our logistics centre, we have gained storage space and are therefore able to react more quickly to our customer orders," says Roland Liebisch, logistics manager at Beurer GmbH. "I am particularly delighted that through these measures we have also been able to create jobs, thus continuing to boost the region. We are always looking for qualified employees in the area of warehouse logistics. This means that in 2016, we shall also provide numerous traineeships in this field."
