October 2013 - Advantech, a leading medical computing platform service and solution provider, announces the cooperation with eSATURNUS. The Belgian company specializes in software platforms for operating room integration. Their HD video solutions are distributed in the European market and beyond. eSATURNUS and Advantech guarantee the reliable functioning for professional applications.

The HD video frame grabber NeBULA™ now is compatible with the Advantech medical grade panel PC, POC-W211 with an IP54 enclosure. This means that it is dust and water protected which gives the clinical end-user the highest hygienic standards in the market.

Nurses and surgeons use NeBULA™ for the acquisition, annotation, editing and reporting of medical procedures. By linking any medical device to the system, still pictures, high definition video and compressed video can be recorded. Storage can happen on the POC-W211 hard disk, or on the hospital network infrastructure using DICOM. The intuitive software is designed for use on a medical grade touch panel.
