ACL Achieves Significant Breakthrough in Improving Image Quality

Reflective glass surfaces interfere with the perception of the information, images and videos depicted on the screen. The user is thus forced to repeatedly change the viewing position in order to avoid disturbing external light sources to be reflected in the display.

With the new NRD technology ACL GmbH, based in Leipzig, has now succeeded in essentially solving this problem. Thanks to this innovation, the typical 12 per cent reflection of any conventional display will be reduced to 0.3 per cent. It thereby also achieves a considerably higher contrast of the presentation. In addition, displays using the new NRD technology benefit from its positive effects on the extension of life cycles.

Come and take a closer look at our pre-serial sample ACL OR-PC with a 21,5“ screen equipped with NRD technology: at the ACL stand B23 in hall 15.

From January 2013 onwards this option will be available for all ACL OR-PC and Medical Displays with screen diagonals from 10“ to 24“.
