About us

A. Algeo Ltd (Algeos) operates four divisions and is viewed as the market leader in each: Orthotics & Prosthetics (O&P); Podiatry; Rehabilitation; and Footwear Components. We are seen as the largest supplier of O&P materials and components in the UK, as well as the largest Podiatry supplier to the NHS in the UK.

Algeos was established in Liverpool, UK, in 1881 and has been owned by the Sheridan family since 1990. Algeos UK has over 11,000 products in its portfolio and last year we sold to 9,000 customers in more than 50 countries. Algeos also has offices and distribution centres in Melbourne, Australia and Mumbai, India.

The company also incorporates a consumer foot care division (Foothealthcare.com) run solely online to offer patient advice and supply products based on practitioner referrals.
