3T GmbH was founded in December 2002 as a Spin-off of the Institut für Textiltechnik der RWTH Aachen (ITA). Dipl.-Ing. Uwe Merklein is the CEO of 3T.

3T GmbH is the partner for industry in the field of research and development both for textile machinery production and the textile industry as well as for technology transfer in other branches of the industry.
