The Da/Pro Process makes it possible to mold rubber diaphragms with a uniform convolute thickness as thin as 0.004 inches (0.1016 mm) held to +/- 0.0015 inches (0.038 mm). This gives Da/Pro custom molded rubber diaphragms valves superior sensitivity, repeatability and flexibility in low-pressure instrument and control applications. Rubber diaphragm valves may be designed to have either integral molded points to attach plastic or metal stiffeners. Da/Pro can mold or bond rubber to metal or plastic retainer plates for one-piece assembly for rubber diaphragm valves

Da/Pro Rubber manufactures rubber gaskets to your specifications. Rubber gaskets are custom manufactured using a variety of rubber materials. We can custom mold complex simple rubber sealing gaskets to gasket designs.

Da/Pro Rubber offers consistent, excellent quality custom rubber gaskets to the medical, aerospace, industrial, and electronic industries. The Da/Pro Process allows rubber gaskets to be produced with precise tolerances and damage to sealing surfaces is eliminated because secondary deflashing operations are seldom required.

Da/Pro's chemists can develop a custom compound that fits your rubber gasket's operating environment whether it is chemical, environmental, heat or mechanical resistance. Our engineering staff assists with the moldability of your gasket design to ensure the most cost effective and efficient solution. Whether your rubber gasket application requires a complicated design, tight tolerances, or specific material requirement, contact us (link to contact form) for your rubber gaskets.

Da/Pro Rubber is an ISO 9001:2000 certified manufacturer of rubber and plastic relief valves for a wide range of applications including medical device, aerospace, industrial, and oil & gas.

Da/Pro produces non-metallic low and high pressure diaphragms for use in relief valves and other types of flow control devices. These diaphragms can be used in low or high pressure systems to control or limit the pressure within the valve. We have manufactured rubber diaphragms for use in low pressure gas valves that have thicknesses in the .006" range.

Da/Pro Rubber offers Liquid Silicone Injection Molding ( LIM ) services in addition to our compression / transfer molding services. Da/Pro is known for high precision, close tolerance molding services and manufactures silicone injection molding parts to these same demanding standards.

Liquid silicone injection molding ( LIM ) is similar to transfer molding but the silicone rubber material is supplied through an injection nozzle and is injected into the mold cavity. Under heat and pressure, the silicone rubber cures. The part is then ejected from the cavity and the LIM molding cycle restarts.

Liquid silicone has a low viscosity. If tooling is not precise, flash occurs and the parts do not come out of the mold clean. Da/Pro Rubber builds LIM tooling that molds precision parts with virtually no flash; decreasing the need for secondary operations.

Injection molding silicone requires creative demolding procedures. For low runs, demolding parts can be accomplished manually. With high run production, manual demolding LIM parts would not be cost effective. Da/Pro's LIM department utilizes automation to demold high run jobs. Injection molding automation includes robotic, brush, mechanical, air and custom techniques. The automation increases the cost effectiveness of injection molding and may decrease the run time of the job.

Da/Pro Rubber manufactures only custom rubber, plastic and TPE parts to customer specifications. Custom shapes include any components that are away from the main component types such as valves, diaphragms, o-rings, etc. Da/Pro engineers work with design engineers in the R&D phase to ensure the moldability of these custom shapes.

Custom shapes can include combinations of traditional designs such as an Umbrella valve combined with a duckbill valve or could be very untraditional part built for a specific application

Custom designed one way sealing devices - duckbill valves, umbrella valves, flapper valves - as well as gasket sealing are produced to customer specification. Our assistance in design moldability and material selection for customer application, often reduces the time from concept to finished rubber seals when Da/Pro is consulted in the early stages of design.

Silicone rubber has excellent high temperature properties and can used in liquid silicone injection molding or as a silicone gum in compression molding process. Silicone rubber can operate normally from -55°C to +300°C. This makes silicone rubber components ideal in high altitude situations in the aerospace industry or high temperature sterilization environments as in medical applications.

Silicone rubber is used in a variety of industries not only for its extreme temperature properties but also the superiority to conventional rubbers in properties such as tensile strength, elongation, tear strength and compression set. Silicone rubber is a highly inert material and does not react with most chemicals. This makes it a highly used material in molding for medical applications and implants. Silicone rubber is an excellent electrical insulator and is often used in electrical connector insert applications.

Silicone rubber has a "backbone" of silicon-oxygen links as opposed to organic rubber that has a carbon to carbon backbone, which is a main factor in it's resistance to ozone, UV, heat and other aging factors.
