BioRegioN- Life Sciences Niedersachsen

BioRegioN is the regional health economy initiative for Life Sciences of the Lower Saxony Ministry for Economics, Labour and Transport.

BioRegioN connects, advises and supports companies, universities, research institutions and many other players in the areas of health economy, biotechnology and biomedical technology in Lower Saxony. BioRegioN targets to strengthen the network structures in the respective industries and to sustainably ensure and expand the competitive position of companies. Furthermore the mobilization of existing and the opening of new innovation potentialities is a goal just like achieving an increased market and application orientation of scientific research. The overall aim is a sustainable protection and strengthening of the business and innovation location in the international competition. On behalf of the Lower Saxony Ministry for Economics, Labour and Transport the Center for Biomedical Technology and Innovation (BiomeTI) e.V. runs the office of BioRegioN.
