Synthetic absorbable braided of polyglycolic acid

Indications

Counseled for the soft cloths to middle skinning length notably at the time of de :

* General surgery

* Ophtalmology surgery

* Abdominal and visceral surgery

* Gynaecological surgery

* Cutaneous surgery

* Under skin tissue suture

Contraindication

NEOFIL + ® sutures should not be used where extended approximation of tissues under stress is required or in patients suffering from conditions which may delay wound healing.

Materials

* Thread: Braided polyglycolic acid made of glycolic acid polymer and obtained by fusion in a temperature of 221-226°C, then extruded in monofilament and assembled by plaiting. Afterward the surface is coated with a hydro soluble lubricant constituted by a copolymer of caprolactone ( 85% ) and glycolide ( 15% ) .

* Needle: in stainless steel with different shapes and lengths adapted to the diameter of the thread.
