Fast Tissue Homogenisation with 3X Higher Nucleic Acid Yield

The Lysonator™ is used to homogenise and disrupt tissue samples, and is especially designed to handle small sample quantities with high efficiency, speed and recovery. The Lysonator™ consists of a bench-top instrument and a single-use consumable set. It is designed to simplify and improve the process of tissue- dissociation prior to extracting biomolecules for molecular analysis.

The Lysonator™ is able to efficiently and consistently deliver high yields of protein, DNA, and RNA per unit mass of sample. The Lysonator™ is compatible with downstream processes of DNA, RNA and protein extraction which is widely used for applications such as genomic analysis, real-time quantitative PCR and chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) assays.

The Lysonator™ can also process samples as small as 5 mg, as compared to other methods which have at best a lower limit of 10mg.
