EUROPEAN HOSPITAL CONFERENCE

On 18 November 2011 the first joint EUROPEAN HOSPITAL CONFERENCE (EHC) takes place as part of MEDICA 2011 and the 34th Congress of German Hospitals. The EHC will address different political, medical and economic topics from across all of Europe. As a separate event the EHC is directed by the Gesellschaft Deutscher Krankenhaustag (GDK) and will be held in the Congress Center East (CCD East) on the trade fair grounds of Messe Düsseldorf.

In addition, high-ranking speakers will take a detailed stance
on the following topics:

• "Current European hospital policy"
Mars Di Bartolomeo, Minister of Health and Social
Affairs, Luxembourg

• "The EU Directive on Patients’ Rights and its Impact
on Hospitals"
Annika Nowak, European Commission

Approximately 150–170 top decision makers from Europe’s
hospitals are expected to attend. All presentations are
translated simultaneous into English, French and German.

The supporting program

We want to make your trip as agreeable as possible.

At the event on the 18 November 2011 we will serve you an exclusive meal at lunchtime in hall 12, near the CCD East.

On the evening of the 18 November you will be welcomed by representatives of HOPE, EAHM and AEMH at a comfortable and traditional location outside the trade fair grounds. In addition to an interesting framework programme we will offer you a wide selection of culinary treats and refreshing beverages on the evening event.

In an exciting atmosphere you can meet European colleagues,
exchange experience and discuss the results of the EHC.
