A Heart Hits the Road

It has been in Kuwait, Israel and the whole of Europe - the heart that can be viewed from any angle. It is an exhibit at MEDICA in the ground floor of CCD.Süd at Messe Düsseldorf - 2 meters high and 4 meters long filled with heart valves and muscle. 21/11/2008

Whoever takes a walk through the heart model realise the benefits of such a large object straight away. You can touch it and learn about heart specific features as well as diseases such as blocked arteries. Even a stent has been added to the model.

„Hands-on medicine is easier to remember“, Veit Minkmar explains, employee of the company Organmodelle Deutschland. Universities, self help groups, pharmaceutical companies - all clients that order models of organs such as the kidney, prostate and breast.

The model is located on the ground floor of CCD.Süd.
