MEDICA MEDIA FORUM

  (Hall 15 / A12) - The independent forum for eHealth, telemedicine and medical information technology: up-to-date information, outlook, discussions, exchange of experiences and surgeons' training

Since 1998, MEDICA MEDIA FORUM has been a leading programme provider for health telematics at MEDICA – the World Forum for Medicine – with more than 130 speakers a year.

To achieve these goals, we have developed three independent yet interconnected modules:

• MEDICA MEDIA FORUM events with structured topics in forums, workshops and panel discussions.
   
• MEDICA MEDIA FORUM special show presenting innovative projects and products from higher education institutes, research institutions, hospitals, health insurance companies, and companies in cooperation with higher education and health insurance firms.
   
• The further and continuing MEDICA MEDIA FORUM education program providing certification for doctors, staff and medical professionals at MEDICA. Furthermore, the products in the presentations can be tried out on site. In cooperation with the leaders of the German Senate for Continuing Medical Education (of the German Medical Council, BÄK) and the Medical Association of North Rhine (ÄkNo) we will be providing a continuing education programme spanning all the halls and connecting trade events and exhibitors at MEDICA. For the topic of teletherapy, the core elements of the concept are the MEDICA exhibitors’ pioneering developments in the field of diagnosis. Using new methods and practices is the “tools of the trade” for any practising doctor.
