Wellness holiday in the living room - a new dimension to relaxation

The new wellness lounger from Hidrex, the specialists in medical wellness, brings a new dimension to relaxation therapy through a combination of four proven treatment methods. The IMT sound resonator is a new, stylishly and ergonomically designed lounge relaxation item - for studios, practices, relaxation areas in companies and hotels, or entirely privately for a wellness holiday in the living room.
4 methods, one therapy:
1. Massage through targeted music vibrations
2. Relaxation by listening to favourite music
3. Revitalisation through magnetic field therapy
4. Deepening release of tension through relaxation swing
Music is transferred from the music system directly onto the lying surface by two resonators in tubes. The lying surface thus assumes the role of a loudspeaker membrane. While lying on the sound resonator we can feel the oscillations of music in the form of a gentle vibration and are thereby “massaged” by our own favourite music, or the relaxation music provided. The pulsating signal fields of soothing inductive magnetic field therapy IMT®, in combination with this musical massage, work genuine wonders, in particular on stronger professional or personal stress and facilitate recovery in the shortest possible time. The special therapy sequential program is coordinated as relaxation music on the supplied CD, and lasts for 30 minutes. The entire body becomes vibrant through the music, the gentle sound massage and magnetic field therapy boost blood circulation and facilitate a rapid deep release of tension and regeneration. The lounger is designed ergonomically to allow for optimal relaxation when lying. The lying space is placed on top of a pair of tubes. This facilitates a gentle swinging, which activates the vestibular system (sense of balance) and thereby further deepens the relaxation effect. The sound resonator is made from pure beech wood and is inherently stable even under the highest operational demands. Interested parties are invited, within the scope of product presentation at Medica 2007, to enjoy this experience of well-being for themselves! (Hall 3 stand C 90 / joint NRW stand)
New therapy laser improves success rate for chronic wounds and blood circulation disorders Medical technology can no longer be imagined without lasers. But in general this means so-called hard lasers, which are used in surgery or cosmetics for removal of hair and tattoos. Increasing significance has been acquired by so-called therapy lasers. In case of low-level laser therapy (LLLT), the tissue is not damaged or destroyed, but rather stimulated through invisible infrared laser light (IR). This biostimulation of laser treatment has an effect on the local immune defence, on the flow in blood and lymph vessels, metabolism in cells and on the excretion of various substances (e.g. endorphins and prostaglandins, which also influence pain conditions). Important effect mechanisms of laser therapy include an increase in collagen fibres and promotion of capillarisation. These factors are particularly important in the area of wound healing. The tensile strength in wound areas can also clearly be increased through laser therapy.
The new Hidrex MPL500 therapy laser is optimised by an innovative laser shower for treatment of poorly healing wounds or tissues, and is easy to operate. The laser shower combines invisible gallium arsenide laser lights (shortened GaAs) at 904nm and red laser lighting at 670nm. The super-pulsed, invisible laser light works like a flashbulb and facilitates high penetration depths of 5cm in the tissue, using pulse widths of only 200ns and peak outputs of 50W. On the other hand the non-pulsed visible laser makes a very effective impact directly in the upper tissue layers of the skin.
Protection of eyes is no longer a luxury in laser treatment
A new product in the range of Hidrex GmbH is the constantly required laser protection glasses for all wavelengths of laser therapy, also as an accessory for existing laser systems of other manufacturers. These protective glasses are offered at considerably lower prices than current market prices in Germany.
