Top performance on small undercounter footprint

PG 8535
At MEDICA 2010, Miele will present its new 90 cm wide washer-disinfectors for which room can be found in any medical surgery: With a height of only 82 cm, the PG 8535 fits under every worktop yet still sports technical highlights which were previously the preserve of only large-chamber Miele decontamination units. These machines will be on sale from December 2010.

The PG 8535 will be launched under the motto 'Perfection Guaranteed' as it offers all that is needed for top-level instrument reprocessing. For instance, it features an integrated 'Perfect Speed Sensor' spray arm monitoring device which records the precise speed of spray arms during operation. This helps keep track of irregularities in the programme cycle caused by human error or by a build-up of foam which would otherwise result in impaired cleaning performance.

Despite its size, the PG 8535 offers ample space for 4 DIN mesh trays, 2 AN sets, one to two MIS sets or 48 gynaecological specula. The freely programmable Profitronic+ controls come replete with 17 standard programmes and sufficient addition memory for clients to save their own customised programmes. On request, Miele's special OxiVario and OxiVario Plus programmes, patents pending, are available to achieve optimum results on critical instruments without the need for pre-cleaning. A special cycle for thoroughly but gently reprocessing the delicate, fine-lumened instruments used in eye surgery is also available. Dispensing is automatic via integrated liquid dispenser pumps. A further benefit lies in the smooth-running telescopic dispenser compartment offering space for two 5-litre canisters and representing a well-conceived approach to storing process chemicals. 'Perfect HEPA Drying' brings each reprocessing cycle to a hygienic close.

The PerfectTouch display with its easily surveyed set of flush controls is particularly convenient to use. The glass surface of the display is completely flush and smooth and therefore ideal for cleaning and wipe disinfection. The high-end and pleasant design of the PG 8535 attracted two design prizes even before its launch: The 'red dot' design award and the iF product design award. This is evidence that the machine expertly combines striking design and ergonomics with professional reprocessing technology.

To meet documentation requirements in compliance with medical device legislation, the unit offers a wide range of cycle documentation options, in part using the machine's own standard network interface. If required, Miele washer-disinfectors can also be connected to Miele's Remote Service.
