The intestines – our multifaceted insides

The intestines are most likely the organ with the strongest influence on our wellbeing. They make themselves felt when we are nervous or frightened, when we suffer from food intolerance or when we have eaten spoiled food. And pathogens that completely mess up our digestion put us out of action for days.
