Sex Determination Eliminated from Cytocell's New Prenatal Kit

The kudos on sex selection varies between countries, cultures, creeds and individuals; legally, ethically and religiously. It was developed as a tool to diagnose sex aneuploidies and prevent phenotypic Y-chromosome dominant disorders being familiarly inherited in male offspring. In some parts of the World though it has become a selection tool to favour the birth of an individual sex, this particular use has generated a significant friction worldwide. Cytocell recognised this as an opportunity to adhere to market demand and produce a Fluorescent In Situ Hybridisation (FISH) prenatal kit without probes for the X and Y chromosomes at a lower price than comparable 5 probe (13, 18, 21, X and Y) kits. This product is now available to purchase and as a combination is unique to Cytocell.
