R&J Medical Suppliers now Anetic Aid’s Distributor in South Africa

R&J Medical Suppliers came on board as Anetic Aid’s South African agent after forging a relationship at last year’s MEDICA exhibition in Germany.

Owner Rod Bezuidenhout explained that his company has spent 21 years importing medical and surgical equipment and his team were delighted to add the QA3 Variable Height Patient Trolley to their range because of its ergonomic design, light weight and ease of manoeuvrability. It’s also seen as good value against international competition in South Africa’s price-conscious market.

Following trials in the Kwazulu-Natal (Durban) area, the QA3 has been supplied to both the Life Healthcare Group (for its Entabeni Hospital and Isipingo Hospitals) and the Netcare Group. The latter, which recently placed an order for ten trolleys for use at the Parklands Hospital in Durban, is also responsible for a number of NHS contracts in the UK.

Following a recent visit to see the trolleys being built at our factory in Portsmouth, Rod said: ‘Our demonstration model of the QA3 has now been moved to Johannesburg and we are also very excited about some of the company’s new products including the QA4 Day Surgery System.’
