Nuclear medicine - radiation for health

Deliberately injecting people with radioactive elements seems to be absurd, dangerous and criminal. Even though, radiotherapy is a hard, but sometimes still the best, cure for many cancers. And some organs, their condition and their function can be seen best when they absorb radiopharmaceuticals whose radiation can be measured from outside the body. This is also true with metabolic processes: Their changes can be an early sign for beginning diseases.
