Airon Corporation, an innovative USA manufacturer of high technology pneumatic products for emergency and critical care is pleased to announce the worldwide release of the pNeuton model S ventilator.
“The growing sophistication of emergency medical support for cardiac and respiratory patents has driven the development of the pNeuton model S ventilator.” said Eric Gjerde, the Company’s President and CEO. “The new pNeuton provides advanced features that ambulance personnel have been asking for in a small device especially designed for their environment. “
The use of Face Mask CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) provides EMS with the ability to immediately treat patients in respiratory distress from congestive heart failure, COPD, asthma and many other conditions. This treatment modality is becoming the standard of care for first responders in many areas of the world. The release of the pNeuton model S now provides, for the first time in EMS a device that can provide Face Mask CPAP for the spontaneously breathing patient, as well as non-invasive ventilation and standard invasive ventilation should the patient’s condition warrant full respiratory control.
The pNeuton model S ventilator, made in the USA, is small, lightweight and designed rugged for use in the field. It requires no electricity or batteries, being operated only from a single oxygen tank. A choice of 100% or 65% oxygen delivery extends transport times up to twice what might be expected, especially when using CPAP. The ventilator is very easy to operate, uses standard patient breathing circuits and is always ready to use - even after extended storage with no batteries to charge or maintain.
