Moscow City Government, Department for External Economic and International Relations of the City of Moscow

Moscow City Government takes part in the MEDICA 2016 trade exhibition.

Over 14th to 17th November 2016, the German city of Dusseldorf plays host to one of the most prominent business-forum exhibitions in the sphere of medical services, technological and management solutions, and in-patient medical care – the MEDICA international trade exhibition for medical equipment, medical instruments, and pharmaceutical products.

Moscow City Government's involvement in MEDICA 2016 featured a Moscow exhibit stand with displays from leading producers of professional medical equipment. Companies featured on the Moscow stand include LLC Native, LLC Angioscan-Electronics, LLC Biotech-Pharm, LLC GIGIENA MED, JSC DiaClon, the Directorate of the International Humanitarian Dimension Foundation; LLC MEDPLANT; the Nordavind Corporation; the International Medical Cluster Foundation; and the Scientific and Practical Centre for Medical Radiology of the Moscow Department of Health.

Within the Business Program of the stand, talks will be held with the First Deputy of the Ober-Burgermeister of Dusseldorf, Dr A Mayer-Falke, in connection with holding a joint Russian-German medical forum. There will also be a number of business meetings, including round table discussions that will include: 'Opportunities for German-Russian Collaboration in the Health Sector';  a presentation by participants titled 'Management using Universal clinical and radiological information management systems of Moscow'; 'Moscow's experience in setting up study and consulation work using the Universal clinical and radiological information management systems of Moscow'; 'the IT architecture of the Universal clinical and radiological information management systems of Moscow'; 'Opportunities offered by the Universal clinical and radiological information management systems of Moscow for use in infrastructure projects in health care'; 'How the dashboard of the Universal clinical and radiological information management systems of Moscow helps in achieving efficiency in radiology departments'.

The heads of executive management teams at federal and regional level have been invited to take part in the Business Program, alongside Russian and foreign experts, and specialists from the medical and pharmaceuticals industry, business leaders, scientific and research experts, and leading industrial manufacturers.
