World Forum for Medicine - MEDICA 2015 in Düsseldorf

Once again in 2015, MEDICA welcomes on over 116,000 square meters approx. 4,800 exhibitors from more than 60 nations which will present the entire range of new products, services and processes for inpatient and outpatient care.

No other event worldwide even offers close to this abundance of innovations.

The success of the renowned medical fair is the interaction between the trade fair and the conferences and forums, which cover the trends and developments of the entire sector.

Please note: This year, MEDICA 2015 runs from Monday to Thursday instead of Wednesday to Saturday, as it was in the past.

Conferences and forums MEDICA 2014
The high internationality of MEDICA is reflected by the many highlights in English, which is also the case in the programme of the accompanying conferences and in the forums.

The MEDICA EDUCATION CONFERENCE offers an interdisciplinary programme. Key topics such as surgery and new surgical techniques or imaging, endoscopy and interventions provide a clear profile of content and a close interconnection with the medical-technological novelties of the trade fair.

Other events rounding off the accompanying programme include the International Conference on Disaster and Military Medicine as well as a top-quality event for the international sports medicine scene, the MEDICA MEDICINE + SPORTS CONFERENCE, and the MEDICA PHYSIO CONFERENCE.

The seven MEDICA forums integrated in the trade fair offer an exciting overview on trends.

A big topic, for example, is the digitalisation of the patient. In future, this will significantly shape the treatment. These trends are taken up by the providers of medical technology, and also MEDICA lives up to its role as a trendsetter with forums such as the MEDICA CONNECTED HEALTHCARE FORUM. The event, which is consistently held in English, shows how the players in the healthcare segment can be linked together simply and securely with the appropriate technology solutions.

Also the MEDICA HEALTH IT FORUM is reflecting trendy topics in the field of Heath IT with a primary emphasis in the broad field of telemedicine. And the special show WEARABLE TECHNOLOGIES shows up to date developments in this innovational field and the connection with telemetry systems.
