All the data you need always at your fingertips: Beurer to showcase its BF800 diagnostic scale at MEDICA 2013
Beurer, specialists for medical prevention, diagnostics and therapy, will be showcasing product innovations from the medical sector at MEDICA in Düsseldorf (Hall 12, Stand 67) from 20 to 23 November. The BF800 diagnostic scale from Beurer offers innovative networking between smartphone and scale, enabling users to keep track of all their measurements and body data, whether at home or on the move. The connection is established via Bluetooth® Smart technology. The BF800 features a conductive ITO* surface finish, in place of the more common electrodes.
The elegantly framed BF800 diagnostic scale features a blue LCD display with white illuminated digits and a 2-line display. Three initials of the user can be shown on the display. The ITO*-coated standing surface made of safety glass has excellent stability and guarantees a long service life. The BF800 can be used to calculate body weight, body fat, body water, muscle percentage, bone mass and body mass index (BMI). Weight is shown in 0.1% graduations for body fat, body water and muscle percentage, and in 100 g increments for weight and bone mass. The BF800 diagnostic scale also calculates other health-related statistics, such as the basal metabolic rate (BMR) and active metabolic rate (AMR) in Kcal. In addition, it features an 'athlete mode' with 5 activity levels. The BF800 is made for a weight capacity of 180 kg. Other features include 8 user memories with automatic user recognition, automatic switch-off, quick start, adjustment between kg/lb/st and an overload indicator.
