Fujifilm at the MEDICA Trade Fair

Represented with two stands: life science, digital radiography, PACS

Fujifilm will have two stands at the MEDICA international trade fair taking place in Düsseldorf from November 16th to 19th. Corresponding to the above average growth of the company in this sector, products and solutions from the areas of life science, digital radiography and PACS will be presented.

Life science: The range of DNA analysis products enlarged

The life science product area will be presented in hall 3, at stand A 93. Center stage will be given to the new product QuickGene 610, a system with which DNA can be extracted from blood. Compared to its predecessor, larger samples can now be used. A dri-chem FDC 3500 which optimizes the determination of blood parameters will also be on display for the field of clinical dry chemistry.

Digital radiography, PACS, endoscopy An extensive spectrum for digital radiography will be presented in hall 10, at stand C 32. X-ray picture creation and x-ray diagnostics, image and data management systems and print solutions will all be part of this. The XG 1, a particularly well-priced and compact storage phosphor system, will be on display as an addition for orthopedists. AXON PACS, an image archiving and communication system for the established doctor, will be presented in the area of medical IT systems. Regarding high-end enterprise PACS, information will be to hand on the company’s SYNAPSE PACS which has been installed more than 600 times worldwide. It will also be possible to see the Fujinon product range focusing on “flexible endoscopy” at the same stand. Modern endoscopy systems for the examination and treatment of the intestinal tract, the unique double-balloon system, bronchoscopes, image documentation systems and EPX-4400, a new digital processor with FICE functioning (Fujinon Intelligent Chromo Endoscopy), will all be exhibited.
