Again this year, MEDICA is the center for medical news and innovations worldwide. This photo gallery shows some of the numerous international exhibitors, who present their products on the trade fair. This is what the exhibitors of MEDICA 2015 say.
For Stiegelmeyer, the supplier of hospital furniture, including hospital beds, MEDICA is the most important exhibition in the healthcare sector. Kirsten Kaawar, Marketing Manager, has not yet managed to go through the fair, because she meets all her regular customers here. She explains: "We have been very successful and I noticed that the internationality is becoming more important."
Jens Clos, Technical Manager of EMALED, is pleased about the international and professional visitors at the fair. He explains: "We are at MEDICA for the 10th time and we are always at the same place. Of course, we are here - there is no discussion about it." Emaled is specialized in the production of medical lights. The program consists of high quality surgical lamps and examination lamps with the latest LED lighting technology.
Sanatmetal, manufacturer of orthopaedic and traumatologic products, is a Hungarian company. Marianna Forgó-Vida, International Sales Director, is very happy. She has been very busy in the last two days and has had a lot of meetings. She is looking for new distributors. Mrs. Forgó-Vida's description of the MEDICA in a few words: "huge, high quality and different types of companies".
The company Diversity from the United Arab Emirates has previously only attended smaller healthcare trade fairs and is now at MEDICA for the first time. Managing Director Sheraz Safdar is very excited about what awaits them here. Diversity is a manufacturer of surgical instruments.
The company Timotion has been exhibitor at MEDICA for more than ten years. For the exhibitors for drive technology, MEDICA is the most important trade fair of the year, because all of their customers also exhibit here. Roberto Ferreira, Key Account Manager, and Pascal Caillereter, Product Manager, know most of the producers and feel like home at MEDICA. "You just have to be here," says Mr. Ferreira.
The company Mayer meets physicians at MEDICA and is pleased about the high number of new contacts. Since 1996, the company has been exhibitor at MEDICA. Jürgen Mayer, Managing Director, explains: "MEDICA trade fair is the best way to act internationally." He describes MEDICA in three words: "Huge, multicultural and busy".
Florian Lupfer Kusenberg, Managing Director at Tunstall GmbH, finds the right partners at MEDICA. Tunstall sees itself as an innovative leader. "At MEDICA we present our new products and receive positive feedback. I would describe MEDICA as established, international and innovative."
"MEDICA is a home game for us," explains Maik Thiede of Optiplan, "MEDICA is precisely our market, and it is going very well so far." The company Optiplan has already been participating at MEDICA for many years.
Creative Holland is the umbrella brand of the Dutch creative industry and exhibits at MEDICA for the first time. Nine start-ups and companies present their products and services for the healthcare sector at the booth.
Etienne Guillemot, Deputy Marketing, from the company AMA applications from France likes MEDICA very much and will definitely be back next year. "There are a lot of visitors who are really well educated in new technologies and products," explains Mr Guillemot.
Mike Harling, Managing Director, Priya Verma, International Trade Manager, and Kathy Oxford, Senior International Trade Manager of the company Georgia from the United States have a very successful fair. "The show seems bigger than last year. It is much busier, many visitors stop and talk with us," says Ms. Oxford.
Marina Scheinberg, Product Manager, and Eugene Kagan, Managing Director, of MS Westfalia have two reasons to celebrate this year at MEDICA: On the one hand, it is the company's 20th anniversary and on the other hand they also present their new product "jenny". It is a compact little device that combines three devices in one: monitoring, ventilation and defibrillation. Together with the product designer Alexander Müller of werk/m they are pleased by the positive feedback from the visitors.
