There is still no vaccine against HIV. But there is one against measles and rubella. The diseases could still not be eradicated in the world regardless. Therefore, the World Health Organization WHO calls regularly to vaccinate children against these highly contagious diseases.

With the European Immunization Week, it want to increase vaccination coverage by raising awareness of the importance of immunization among parents and caregivers, health care professionals, policy and decision-makers, and the media.
