Essex ambulance liquid oxygen (ALOX) systems provide uninterrupted life support

Saint Louis, Missouri – Essex Ambulance Liquid Oxygen (ALOX) systems can provide uninterrupted life support to patients during critical care ground transport. Units are available in 8.5 and 25 liter systems.


The 8.5 liter ALOX operates at 285 psig and is capable of supplying up to 7310 gaseous liters of oxygen at a maximum flow rate of 100 liters per minute at 50 psig. This lightweight system is easy to install and is the equivalent of one (1) large H-Cylinder.


The 25 liter ALOX also operates at 285 psig and is capable of supplying up to 21,500 gaseous liters of oxygen at a maximum flow rate of 100 liters per minute at 50 psig. Weighing just 128 lbs. when full, the 25 liter ALOX is the equivalent of three (3) large H-Cylinders.


Both systems come with a pre-installed LOX quantity gauge as well as a connection for an external LOX quantity gauge for use inside the ambulance.
