UK-based Rober Ltd will launch its new range of zero pressure mattress systems at MEDICA – including a selection from its premium NoDec® Air-Stream range.
Rober are leaders in the development and manufacture of zero pressure technology for the treatment of pressure injuries, and will exhibit at MEDICA 2014 (Hall 16, Stand G04-4) to showcase both NoDec® and Airflex® ranges.
Amongst the products being showcased from the NoDec Air-Stream range will be the NoDec 3 Air-Stream, which provides superior patient comfort and safety. The product is based upon a clinically proven three-cell cycle designed to replicate the body’s natural spontaneous movement and provides complete pressure elimination at regular intervals.
Rober will also showcase the NoDec Airstream THP (Total Heel Protection) a solution for the management, rehabilitation and the healing of pressure injuries in the acute and sub-acute setting.
The mattress comes with a ‘heel zone’ delivering zero pressure alleviating the need for manual deflation preventing long term concentration of pressure on the Achilles Tendon especially if left unattended.
Also on display will be the NoDec900, a battery powered dynamic cushion for wheelchairs, which provides maximum comfort and stability, giving the user reassurance whilst in use, with a run time of at least 17 hours.
In addition to the premium range, Rober will also be demonstrating the Airflex Trio, a new cost effective mattress system providing replacement and overlay options.
At MEDICA 2014, the company hopes to meet with new and existing distributors, whilst improving existing export links and further their overseas business across Europe.
MEDICA, the world’s largest healthcare exhibition, will take place from 12-15 November at Messe Dusseldorf, Germany. Last year the exhibition attracted more than 130,000 visitors from 120 countries.
Mike Hutson, Managing Director of Rober Ltd said: “Our new range of mattresses are at the cutting edge of ‘zero pressure interface’ technology with improved energy efficiency and pressure control throughout the mattress, and also reduction in noise, weight and case size. We believe our products to be some of the best on the market.
“The improved range is much easier to use for nursing staff and clinicians, and has a big impact on the end user – most importantly, patients.
“We’re looking forward to building relationships at MEDICA 2014 and introducing our products to new distributors from across the globe.”
