Barcelona, October 28, 2015 - NTE Healthcare, a healthcare technology company owned by the SENER engineering and technology group is at MEDICA 2015, exhibiting the AUTOPLAK inoculation and streaking device for liquid samples in Petri dishes. NTE Healthcare thus continues to develop new technology solutions to completely automate microbiology laboratories.
AUTOPLAK is also continuing its international expansion and this device has already been installed in microbiology labs in various countries as a first step towards automating their processes.
AUTOPLAK is an innovative inoculation and streaking device for liquid samples in Petri dishes. It is capable of inoculating an average of 140 Petri dishes per hour and can simultaneously load 120 liquid microbiological samples of any type. It is touchscreen operated and is also LIS-ready (Laboratory Information System). AUTOPLAK has three default configurations, set for optimal adaptation to three levels of laboratory capacity: Standard, Advance and Full Equip. In addition, the device can also be configured by choosing from a range of optional features to meet the specific needs of each laboratory.
AUTOPLAK has recently added two new features: bi-plate streaking and automatic antibiotic disc dispensing for antibiogram test. They can both be viewed at NTE Healthcare’s stand at MEDICA, where an Advance configuration AUTOPLAK will be on display.
