ARGUS PRO LifeCare System

SCHILLER will present the ARGUS PRO LifeCare at MEDICA, a new mobile intensive care monitor for emergency patients. This unit is based on a drop, shock and waterproof outdoor PC containing an extremely compact emergency patient monitor, a defibrillator and a transcutaneous pacemaker. All vital data measured by the monitor can be transmitted to any location in the world via UMTS/GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA.

The ARGUS PRO LifeCare in Detail
Combined with the ARGUS PRO Transport, the ARGUS PRO LifeCare forms today's most compact and lightest mobile intensive care monitoring system and provides an unmatched range of features. The monitoring system includes all basic parameters (ECG, NIBP, SpO2, inv. pressure, temperature and etCO2) displayed on a small 4.8 inch display. An integrated Multipulse Biowave ® AED defibrillator with manual mode option, and an integrated transcutaneous pacemaker is also included, all in a unit weighing as little as 3.6 kg including accessories. All this makes the ARGUS PRO LifeCare the ideal monitor for rescue services. In conjunction with the compact, flat display unit ARGUS PRO TRANSPORT, and a combined weight of only c. 6.5 kg, this system is destined for use in rescue helicopters.

Resting ECG Transmission
A resting ECG can be sent in diagnostic quality and with an automatic interpretation to a hospital for evaluation (second opinion) via a WEB client. As only the raw ECG data is transmitted without any images, the receiving hospital does not need any specific software for the evaluation but only a PC with Internet access and a standard browser such as Internet Explorer 6.1 or higher, for unrestricted assessment.
